Game
Five Nights at Frickbear's 3

Happy Frickbear Friday! While I HAVE been working on the game quite a bit, the stuff I'm working on is stuff I unfortunately can't show off yet. So instead, I figured this would be a good time to give a general status update on the game's development!

As of now, night 3 and its preceding salvage section are INCREDIBLY close to completion, and are practically fully playable - the only things left to finish are the phone call and difficulty balancing for the former and a couple bits of flavor text for the ladder. Its animatronic roster and unlockable minigame all done, though! (Given, six of the seven animatronics in this night are ones that were already in the demo, but I hope you look forward to seeing them in full context :D)

Additionally, some preliminary work has been done for night 4! Its salvage section has already been fully mapped out, and its unlockable minigame is ALSO already finished. Two of its animatronics are fully implemented, art assets and all, with an additional three fully programmed in!

Beyond these two nights, some miscellaneous things have been changed or finished as well, including two animatronics that are fully implemented on top of the previously mentioned ones, a new unlock method for the minigames, and an additional camera or two not present in the demo.

Stuff has also gotten rolling regarding voice acting for the animatronics! If you played Frickbear's 2 (or even just Ultimate Custom Night) you should have a pretty good idea of what this entails, though if you prefer the animatronics silent like they are in the demo, a setting to mute them will also be included in the options menu.

...I may or may not have also gotten some work done on one of the final bosses, but you aren't allowed to see that yet.

As a whole, I think it's safe to say the game is past 50% complete at this point! The hardest part of game development tends to be just getting the foundation done, and considering that's already finished, things should be relatively smooth sailing from here. The vast majority of the remaining animatronics should be pretty easy to implement, as well as finishing up night 4's salvage section considering almost all the props and assets it needs can just be reused from the other two I've already finished. (That being said, I'm scared to start on night 5's salvage section knowing the amount of unique assets it'll need! If you've caught onto the pattern with the salvage sections thus far, you probably know why.)

I don't wanna give a release window yet, especially since even I have no idea when I'm gonna get everything done, but I hope you all look forward to the finished game regardless! I can at least promise that whenever it releases the final game is gonna be awesome :D

TL;DR: Night 3's basically finished, night 4 is partially finished, game as a whole is about halfway complete, Freddy Fazbear is behind you right now. Look forward to the full release!

You should all give Aftonblast a try if you haven't already, by the way! It's right below the demo's download link. Just for fun, here's my S-rank run of the first expert stage.

A lot of people have seen it by now, so I might as well post it! Here's the poster I drew for Five Nights at Friedrich's :D (Which you should all go play by the way, if you like this game I have no doubt you'll like it too.) https://gamejolt.com/games/five-nights-at-friedrichs/879218
