8 years ago! That's a lot of time! :)
8 years ago we were in 2015. Most of you were already alive by then, but I'm sure many of you were quite young! :)
2015 was a crazy year, I'll tell you that.
After a very tough 2014 in which I remained almost 2 entire months in a hospital bed, 2015 was full of good things.
In 2015 I was working at Midipixel, an indie game studio composed of two people: myself and Werther, this dude on the left here:

(this is us at his house, pretending to work)
During this year, we were trying to explore our possibilities and make as many prototypes as we could, in order to decide which game we would make as our studio's first game.
We decide to use game jams for that, and we participated in a lot of different game jams that year.
The first game jam we participated in was Textureless Jam 2015, a game jam where you had to make a game without using any images! Everything drawn on the screen had to be shapes and other stuff you could draw using your engine's basic primitives.
For Textureless Jam 205, Werther and I made "W.A.G.N.E.R", a Pacman / Snake hybrid:

Textureless Jam 2015 was a Game Jolt game jam, so, to join it, what did I do? Created a Game Jolt account, of course.
(By the way, you can still find all this jam's games by using the #texturelessjam2015 hashtag. Check this out!)
So!
We kept making games, and I kept uploading some of them to Gamejolt. Defender 88! is one that we finished (I'm going to talk about it in a different post, someday...). Our horror, Gameboy-style game Walled Moments is unfinished, but I still want to make it...
And eventually Warlock's Tower... (which also deserves other posts, many other posts...)

But it all started here. With W.A.G.N.E.R.
A game thus titled SOLELY as a pun, based on this Brazilian football player:

This guy is called Vagner Love, and we made the game using a framework called Love2d, which produces .love files... you have probably figured this out by now.
I haven't kept using Game Jolt for all these years.
However, returning to it after all this time has been really, really cool.
So, thank you! Thank you, supporters, thank you, followers, thank you, @gamejolt folks! It has been a blast :D
Special thanks to my current top 10 supporters, who have been giving me tons of charged stickers and making this extra-worthy and fun!
@Mr_Papiolas, @GenericIs, @P4nd4rt_Bear, @Swiwei, @Pixelite_Studios, @Alexandar-Serbin, @LydiaBarbaro, @Taskmaster0225, @4nthonyYT and @YuriDavila: you folks are the best!!!!
That's it, everyone :)
Let's keep making cool stuff!
