Hello World..

..and welcome to the devlog of Cold Steel!
My name is Nick and I am the solo developer of this fairly ambitious project which I hope will come into fruition in the next 2 years.

At the moment the project is in the Blue Sky phase (you can read all about the production process which I will be more or less using here) which in short means that having come up with the game idea, I am busy making the game design document.
The document lists all of the details (eg. assets, names, loot table) and features (eg. movement, combat, economy) in order for me to keep track of my ideas and be able to create a prioritized to-do list.

Additionally I’m doing all the necessary content research for the various locations, buildings etc. in order to attain a more specific image of what I will be building before diving into Unreal for preproduction.

Starting next Sunday I will start posting weekly updates on the progress I’m making and possibly short discussions regarding specific design decisions.

Nick out.
