Good afternoon everyone! It's been roughly 50 Days since the last Devlog and over 2 Months since the release of the Narrative Beta. I would like to apologize for the lack of updates and explain what work has been completed over time.
I've been creating entire documents for the currently planned characters and their abilities. I cannot go into much detail about this without spoiling the story. However in the Narrative Beta, you can get a barebones idea of Oracho Poxu's ability.
Next, reworking my already written script to improve the experience from a gameplay perspective featuring events that involve rushing through a warzone and following an NPC as they give a tour of an urban location.
More reworks to character sprite sheets and portraits to match the new designs as well as brand new ones for future Narrative Events. There's even been reworks to the locations featured in the Alpha AND areas not accessible/did not exist in the Alpha build.
Now to comment on the two different versions of the game mentioned in the last Devlog update. The Standard Edition will release first, then the Royalty Edition will release at a later date as of right now. This is subject to change of course.
Finally to address my silence over these last 50 Days. I've been balancing job hunting, my social life, family life, and development work leaving very little stress-free time. On October 24th, 2022, I tested positive for COVID-19. Today is the first day I have been back to development since the diagnosis however, these symptoms got that going at a snail's pace. But I'm going to beat this thing, and development will continue.
