Planning next update + video for early February. It's not gonna be anything huge, but I intend it to be about the new revised opening cutscene. NOT the sepia one, mind you; the one with Hercine and Asriel, that then transitioned into Asriel and Undyne, that then transitioned into Asriel and Frisk. Yeah, that super long one.

That long original cutscene has been completely cut and replaced, and it is primarily because of Hercine's... well, pointless inclusion.
To be blunt, she was a vestigial element of MUCH older versions of the story and no longer has a reason to be a character. Thus, she and that cutscene have been scrapped, and replaced with something MUCH more fitting for the storyline we're telling.
It also rectifies the problem the original opening had where it took about six minutes of reading dialogue before you even got to any gameplay. This should cut down on that considerably.

However, I do want to ask that, since this is such a dramatic revision and I imagine a lot of you have grown attached to the older version, that you please give this new one a shot despite it being very different!
