So, following last time's announcement, some interesting information has surfaced. Let's jump right into it:

Paid Subscriptions

Turns out the New Hope crew has been trying to make a profit off of their no-permission revival, by setting up a Boosty page (archive if it goes down), where they show off early previews in exchange for paid subscriptions.

They also have a stretch goal of ₽120,000 (or $1,206), money which they claim will go into custom borders they commission.

Lots of promotion surrounding it on their Telegram group.

Worst part is they don't actually even need this money, since they already have artists on board who could do it on their own volition...

...or had artists who could do it but got kicked out due to speaking against their actions, or other conflicts.

And as if making money like this wasn't bad enough, you could say this also technically goes against Toby Fox's policies in regards to making money off fan projects, something which most content creators are aware of. Speaking of...

Ripping Off Various Other Creators

Not only the NH team has refused to change out the original BnP sprites despite claiming they would, favoring to just add extra shading and calling it a day...

... but have also went ahead and copied sprites and designs from other works, for example:

• Papyrus' BELIEF by Kass

• UTY: Golden Years by DrSteph

• Icebound by LuciiiDLL (UI), colored Ceroba sprite by WolfBlaze_NETHER

(And probably loads more . I have my doubts if they asked for permission on any of these.)

Additional Info

As if this wasn't already raising enough alarms, there's still more!

First off, they tried getting sympathy points by bringing up external topics like the war in Ukraine, since they can't excuse themselves for their behavior.

And of course, they've been threatening anyone speaking against them, including basically all our associates, getting super defensive and spreading lies.
