An escalator is a moving staircase; a conveyor transport device for carrying people between floors of a building. The device consists of a motor-driven chain of individual, linked steps that move up or down on tracks, allowing the step treads to remain horizontal.
This is the Yokohama Landmark Tower (It is located at… well, Yokohama); John Daub said that this is Japan's tallest building (About 970-feet tall), which was true… but not to be confused by this, the video was uploaded to YouTube in 2013.
In 2014 (A year after the video was posted), Osaka's Abenobashi Terminal Building surpassed the Landmark Tower (Being about 984-feet tall).
