This is Sapporo, it's the capital city of Hokkaidō Prefecture in Japan. The port city is on the southwest part of the island of Hokkaidō and is the island's largest city. The city is famous for the Sapporo Snow Festival.

A mascot is any person, animal, or object thought to bring luck, or used to symbolize a group. Many schools and sports teams have a mascot, and so do some corporations or products. For example, the mascot of the Sacramento Kings is a lion, the mascot of GEICO is a gecko, and the mascot of Sega is Sonic the Hedgehog. Speaking of which, Japan has a lot of amazing mascots at all shapes and sizes. But do you know what mascot we should be afraid of?! MELON KUMA!🍈🐻
MELON KUMA IS TERRIFYING! Look, he is so terrifying, even Japanese kids are afraid of him (Well, not all kids…)! Good god, who's idea was this?
