Game
Bio-me*

I’d like to share a brief progress update on Bio-me*, since I’ve been unable to for a little while now.

The game is still in active development, although obviously I couldn’t make the deadline for the game jam it was originally made for. Additionally, my days have been growing busier, and I haven’t been able to regularly commit as many hours to development as I could a few months ago. I still care very much about this game and the ideas behind it- development is by no means halted permanently. For now, however, progress updates might be slower until I’m able to begin actively posting when the game is nearing release.

Thank you for reading, and I hope to see you there!

Bio-me* Progress Update #1:

I've decided on a visual style for the game! Only four colors (2-bit)- those three pale green-yellows, and a bright orange. (Blue isn't included in the full game.)

Movement and framework are complete- finishing dialogue now!

Bio-me* Progress Update #2:

The framework for the game is almost completely done- all that's left is to polish the overworld space and write up the story events. Hoping to release the game before December!

I've invented a type of tomato called a 'tomat'.

Hey! I decided to dust off FL studio the other day and made a quick remix of the Heavy Lobster theme from Kirby. It's not for a game or anything, I just wanted to show off a bit...

Let me know what you think!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Strange Umbrella

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.
