About Me
Hi. I'm ThePixelatedGrater. I aspire to be a successful game dev someday, starting out with the Gameboy Studio Engine. I already have two test games up, and I hope this could be the 3rd if people are interested.
About The Game
The game would be an *infinite arcade-style game. It would mix two different type of survival games into one. Sit 'n Survive and Scavenging style games (for example, games like FNaF and Don't Starve)
*While it would technically be infinite, after a certain amount of times it would be near impossible to gather the resources required without running out of time. Explained more in the next section
The Gameplay Loop
You play an unnamed character stuck with Bendy in a small area. There are two main parts of the gameplay loop:
Day
During this period, your character is free to roam the small area they are confined to. Each day, your character will need to find a random amount of Gears to keep their mechanical door closed at night. They will be on a timer that shrinks in length each day, and once they find their necessities and return to their "base" the next phase will begin. However, if they do not make it back in time, or have enough Gears for their door, they will be killed by Bendy, ending the run.
Night
This is your safe period. You can spend as much time as you like during in the night phase, however you must manage your character well. They need enough Water and Food to survive, which you must also find during the Day phase along with the Gears. Otherwise, they can die from dehydration or starvation. You can also visit the vending machine during the night.
The Vending Machine
The vending machine has various items that can help you during gameplay loops, such as a cross to prevent 1 death, or a Bendy Brand Soup to increase your speed by 1.5x during the day. However, they will cost valuable resources, and you can only have 1 at any time.
Difficulty
The game will have 3 different difficulties:
Baby
The day counter will start longer and resources have a 1.5x chance to spawn.
Mediocre
The day counter will start as normal and extra resources have a 1x chance to spawn
Demon
The day counter will start shorter and extra resources have a 0.5x chance to spawn
