Imagine you have a family gathering at your place, and you need to cook a 3-meal dinner *with dessert* in time for the guests to arrive. You sit there with pots and pans, stuff boiling and roasting, and everything has to be perfect, and your multi-tasking is on-point. But then one of the pots break because it was a badly designed and poorly constructed mess, and now your stew is all over the stove.
That's kind of what I feel like right now :P
I've hated it every time I've had to postpone the release. I know waiting for something is harder when you keep having to reschedule your expectations. But this can only be the last time I can delay the game further.
The specific reason for this delay is three-fold:
1. Clickteam coding issues have pushed me out of my planned time-schedule.
2. More balancing is needed.
3. Clickteam is inconsistent and a difficult beast to tame.
How do I know that tomorrow will be the day the game releases?
I know because the game overall is around 95% done, and I also know that the further away I work from the time of release, the calmer I am, and that ironically allows me to work faster!
I'm also adding another screenshot (one with one of the fan-favorites!)
Thanks again for your patience.
