Ok so starting this off I may have dropped the ball, through 10 floors.
To be completely honest recording and adding in all the voice lines became monotonous. It was looking at the line, feeding it into the text to speech program, listening and changing the line about 3 times to make sure it sounded at least decent, recording it on audacity, editing the audio, saving it and finally inserting it into the game before moving onto the next 200 or so voice lines that needed to get done. The way I had it set up I couldn’t listen to music so it would be just me and springtraps voice. I kept trying to get them done but I every time I tried I would spend 5 hours or so getting about 15 lines done and implemented in the game, which I felt like was little to no progress. Eventually after a while I just stopped working on it and focused on my school work among other things. It just tears me up that I let this happen in the first place.
THAT BEING SAID I STILL HAVE EVERY INTENTION TO COMPLETE THE VOICE WORK BEFORE I RELEASE ANYTHING ELSE
I don’t want to just give up on this so I’m not going to do anything else until I get this done (And I have big plans for what I’d like to do next). I’ve managed to find a way I can listen to music and work at the same time. I’ll also be streaming the rest of my development on this game so that I make absolute certain I get done.
THE FIRST STREAM OF ME ACTUALLY WORKING ON THE GAME WILL BE ON SATURDAY AROUND 4 TO 8PM CST DEPENDING ON DIFFERING CONDITIONS
I am obligated to finish what I started so doing that I shall. First step in that is apologizing for what I’ve done and making up for it.
If I can’t do this then I will have failed myself more than whomever is left…
