Blooming Darkness [DEMO]

I started implementing the final weapon into the game: the shield! Shielding and parrying are finished and the shield throw is being worked on. Also, the first boss isn't done yet and was just used here for testing.

Mechanic Details

Shielding absorbs all damage and depletes energy by 1/2 the damage amount. Parrying depletes less energy and deals back half of the damage to the attacker.

Once you're out of energy, shielding absorbs 1/4 damage, while parrying absorbs 1/2 damage and will no longer reflect damage.

I hope the parry effect feels satisfying as it's a 6 frame window (subject to change).
