Lutaland

I've been working on a few things for Lutaland, here's what I've come up with!

List of features made:

  • All animations and an animation system for KT

  • Enemy movement/AI/pathfinding

  • Collisions

  • A camera that follows the player

  • Depth/Layering

  • A door that opens and closes when you go nearby

  • Some other things that I don't remember...?

As always, feedback is appreciated, so comment if you see something that should be improved!

I recently created this song for the Lutaland OST to be used later in the game. Give me your thoughts on it in the comments!

I made this Lutaland art, what do you think? This will likely be used in the game as some sort of loading screen.

I fixed the water problem, and also ended up going down the rabbit hole of adding oceans, which were incredibly difficult to make. I figured it out though, and I think it looks pretty good! What do you think?

Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.

I finished all the icons for the inventory! Now all that's left is to... actually... program it...

Congratulations to @Freddy9207 , our #LTCOKills winner!

They posted a Mission Accomplished screen showing that they got 1,814 kills!

Using some recent additions to Lutaland, I have added this huge castle to the game! What do you think?

I'm working on some equipment ideas for KT to wear in Lutaland! A few are shown in the above image, so tell me what you think!

Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

I'm continuing to work on the inventory system for Lutaland, and have added a few new things, like icons for different parts of the inventory, labels for those parts, and a cursor!
