This is not only to give the map more meat on it’s bones (because lets face it the original was a straight line) but also because of the utterly unhinged way the developer did the static effect. Yes this is a rant now
So typically in fnaf fangames you just have a semi transparent static animation playing whenever you have the camera open. Simple, yeah?
Well, in the original game they instead did the brilliant maneuver of making every single camera the static animation itself. This means there are four images of each camera just to play the static effect, and that’s not even mentioning the fact that slender is rendered in the camera image itself, meaning that each camera actually has 8 images!!!! And to make things even more nutty, some of the images were doctored with the static effect on top of it, meaning that we now have an image with static and with certain parts smeared or with a slenderman page on it. So you better believe reverse image searching was just so fun
Truthfully this doesnt matter in the grand scheme of things, we managed to uncover quite a few of the original images, and we also found a lot of good suitable replacements (one of them you may recognize; yes it was intentionally picked). I just wanted to clarify this and also talk about how funny i find static to be. Wait till next week when i tell you about a story about paint drying incorrectly
