In short, everything involved was stupid.


So it was brought to my attention that every build published yesterday had a fatal flaw that prevented the game from even starting. Several audio files were missing, and even if the game did start, it would crash numerous times throughout the game. Why? Because RPGMV is an idiot.

For those of you who know RPG Maker MV, you know that there’s an option in “Deployment” that lets you exclude unused files to drastically decrease the deployed folder’s size. However, this doesn’t include files used only by plugins, namely Yanfly’s Message Core and Battle Aftermath.

And for those of you who don’t know RPGMV, it’s an idiot program for complacent idiots like myself.

So… I’ve redistributed the game with the missing files included. HOPEFULLY, it won’t crash again. (Outside of the save screen, but that I just could never get resolved.)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
