So in the last update (Which will probably be deleted by now due to irrelevance), I made it clear that I lost every bit of the game. Code, sprites, sound, and everything else.
But as it turns out, I had a single backup I forgot about on a flash drive mixed in with several other folders and files. Although it seems to be the literal first build, Orange placeholder sprites and all.
But what is here is still salvageable. It has most of the base platforming and physics code, and that's really what took the longest to do anyways.
But after the several pitfalls I've had with this god forsaken project, there's a big conflict of interest with myself
I want this to happen, but I'm far too mentally drained from this games development and many other things, specifically as of recent. So I can't even guarantee it'll happen anymore.
If/When I resume this (Which may be soon. no idea.) I'll probably work on it behind the scenes this time, and release a test/demo build when I get the chance (I'll try to give it at the very least 2 levels, and make it worthwhile). I'll also take feedback on what can be improved regarding physics, gameplay, or even future features if I'm ever up to it.
TL;DR, a playable build will POSSIBLY be up before, or early into next year, though that's absolutely subject to change.
Once again, and I CANNOT stress this enough, I'm sorry about my incompetence as a developer, and how the path of this game keeps changing by the literal second.
It's all up in the air whether this is truly finished or not.
No promises on anything.

(P.S. There's a possible/more fitting name change for the game coming soon. The current name was partially derived from something else really early in development, in about 2016/17. Although just to be perfectly clear, none of the story or anything else was.)
