👉 Initial Steps😁

Hi Guys, So for the past  2 to 3 weeks, or so... I first made clear of the entire story of what's gonna happen and documented it and then made the basic  flow of the story. Created polished for the first two levels then i started working from absolute blank project in Unreal 5.6. I didn’t want the template clutter, so no first person or third person starter pack, just empty. The idea was to build a proper immersive FPS for sur-real horror vibes, so i needed to figure out how to setup my own character. Instead of relying on template, I am experimenting to create my own Character BP, added a camera on the head socket and messed with transforms until it felt “eye level”. Had some confusion with scene vs scene component lol, but got it working.

To be frank I am a beginner on unreal engine and just dabble on some projects when my office/freelancing work needs it. Basically I am slowly learning and want to create a well optimized game with good character motions and facial animations. I will be slow on progress because I still work full time and this is a side passion project of mine that I want to make wholeheartedly.

A total of 15 rooms/levels connected without loading screens, probably using sublevels streaming. Characters will be as I said, Metahumans player and two more characters with some enemy characters and interesting levels. Still figuring how to optimize them. Checked Live Link too, experimented with it and will update you guys soon
