Hey, everyone! Kira here to give a little update on what I've been occupied with over the last few months. And woo, it's a bit!
INTERNETFIGHT
Since January of this year, I've been making a little IKEMEN fighting game with a few friends called InternetFight, which is basically a successor to my last major project, VibinVendetta. The game uses the same framework and engine, has the same gameplay, as well as including a few familiar faces, along with some new faces added! The game will include 12 total characters and one boss fight, which serves as the main antagonist of the game.
I can also safely say that the game's being developed by the same core people who were part of the VibinVendetta team. No outsiders this time!
We don't have a set release date for InternetFight, especially with the game being put on hold indefinitely, but despite its dormant state, that's not to say it's dead.
Here's a screenshot of the game!

As you can see, it's pretty much the same game, just given a second chance!
FALSEHOOD v0.10.0
You've probably noticed that I haven't released, let alone said anything about Falsehood, publicly as of late, and for good reason.
Since February, I've been HEAVILY refining many aspects of the game, adding a plethora of new content, all while getting Act Five ready for release as I inch closer to having the full game ready for you all to play.
Many of the things seen in the v0.8.0 build are going to be changed or removed for the better. In addition to this, the game's going to be getting a lot more art that's done by other members on the team, namely Eve, Abo, and Slithy. Because of this larger scope, on top of the fact that I've had some major art block with Act Five lately, this next update is probably going to take a long time before I'm actually ready to release it.
The good news is that I have a bit of Act Six already finished, some of NG+ has been implemented for Act One, and I've even been getting with some people on the team to discuss post-game content to make the final game all the more replayable!
Moreover, the game will feel much more like an RPG, with skills, enemies, bosses, and items getting serious rebalancing to even the playing field.
I'm not sure when this update will be ready, but I'm predicting that it'll be ready between May and July. Don't quote me on this, though!
Here's a screenshot of the new title screen!

Yup! I've completely overhauled the title screen to look much cleaner! Before, the only options you had were:
New Game
Continue
Music Box
Now, there are more options:
Credits - A credits menu that lists the names of everyone who helped with the game.
GameJolt Page - This option takes you directly to the GameJolt page.
Shudown - Unlike previously, you can now close the game from the title.
GAME - THE CHILDRENDER : DX GAIDEN
This is going to be my next major RPG Maker game after Falsehood is completed. It's basically a love letter to Childrenders HQ, and it takes everything I've learned about RPG Maker over the last decade, merged into one big epic. Unlike that game, this one's going to be a lot meme-heavier, and it's going to be far more dense this time around, with 5 additional acts compared to Falsehood's set of 6 acts.
PLOT
Years after the main events of the Childrenders, the renderers have fizzled out - chasing and following their own separate endeavors in life. Some of these people live on; others have fallen during greater flame wars.
And when the dust settles? New figures take the thrones of previous rulers.
Some of these new entities keep the world of Sector-C safe. Others come only to enact fear into the lives of many. When all hope seems lost, it's up to 06, Guymba, Rat, Skyblue, Grayson, and many other renderers to step up to the plate and humble these self-proclaimed fight collaborators.
Can you handle the heat?
So far, I've the prologue, first act, and the first half of act two, and hoo, they've been pretty wild!
I don't know when I'll have this one ready for the public, but I'm hoping to give you guys the first three acts to play at the very least for the first public version.
