It's kind of interesting that in the 80s, RTM1 (modern day TV1, Malaysia's goverment funded TV broadcasts) can keep broadcasting until 1 in the morning. And usually closes down at like before (or shortly after) 1:30 AM.


Mostly because that time, most television channels closes their broadcasting day around 11 PM to 12 AM for the earliest.

Although it's stated in the Malay Wikipedia that in the 1980s, they end broadcasting day as early as 11:00 PM. This one might be a different case, thought. Not sure what it is.
