Today, I fixed that troublesome movement bug. Before, I was calculating the trajectory myself with a few equations taking in aspect ratios, the maximum x/y velocities and the mouse position. Now, I’m using a different way that is much simpler and moves much smoother. Easily put, It’s fixed.

I added limits on the upgrades, as they could get out of hand, especially with the laser range. In addition, I showed when the ship was fully repaired.

Speaking of the laser range, it actually works now. Before, it wouldn’t line up right and the off-center collision would cause the ship to randomly move around.

I made the shop text update better so nothing can go negative or just not update at all. I also made the gold text flash red when you don’t have enough for the option you just clicked on.

I fixed the canvas so it scales better to multiple screen sizes.

Here are some screenshots from early in the game.

August 20 (30 minutes later) I noticed that the game was set to a 16:9 resolution, but the UI didn’t fit correctly. I’m not really sure how to fix the web version… but I fixed the downloadable. BEFORE: AFTER: I also added a quit button.
