GameMaker Studio (the software I use to program Squid) randomly broke the game a while ago now. I think it was caused by an update, but I won't go into too much detail about it. Just a heads up the update will take a lot longer then planned because I am still trying to fix it. Hopefully it should be back to normal sooner rather then later but no promises. Sorry for the delay!

Running and Orb of Confusion
I wanted to make more ways to escape Squid's wrath, so I've come up with two new additions: a Running mechanic, and the Orb of Confusion. I won't go into much detail on these yet, but they will be released next update soon!

GameJolt API is being integrated into Squid! This means there will be scoreboards and other cool new features! It's also worth noting that signing in will be completely optional, meaning offline play is still allowed if desired.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
