Just finished what would be the Overworld/Field theme for my game. Here, have a listen.

The tone I'm trying to go for is the feeling on being trapped on another plane of existence and there's no clear way on how to get back. You're completely outside your comfort zone, and yet you still possess some hope in your heart. Your companion is with you, and you're on the home stretch, but there's still a long way to go, with the likely chance of failure.

I think I did a good job trying to convey that fact. I'm also starting to notice that I would much prefer using fewer instruments than anyone else. The song is called: "Twilight Zone", and I think you could understand the game's tone just by listening.

Finally got around to implementing Sub-Weapons.

Okay so I have been on that grind these past few days. I just revamped the title screen, and main menu. I think I'm finally out of mid development hell since things have been speeding up a lot lately. The game should be released by the end of next month.

Made this neat little pixel art. It took me over an afternoon and it's not the best, but I'm still satisfied on how it turned out. I made it while using a limited color palette if that matters.

Gentleman Rat Studios (@GR-Rob ) describe it as “a little bit Animal Crossing, a little bit Stardew Valley. Maybe even a little bit Windwaker, too."

After 7 months and 26 days, I finally finished a game for the first time.

I just began work onto implementing Companions into combat, along with other quality of life changes.
