Hello again,

April Development

Let's be honest, not the most productive month. Even during this pandemic, these can be quite busy days. Still, we've managed to do a few things:

1. Rewriting dialogue.
   This is still work in progress, but we've managed to point out one of overall flaws of our writing: Getting too emotional, too quickly. We're happy with how it's turning out, and it'll hopefully be ready to implement by next month. No guarantees. Just hopes.

2. Sound profile feedback.
   We altered most of the sounds we had and got a rating of "much better" from one of our playtesters. Fyi, the sounds had an intentional 'echo-y' aesthetic. This caused issues when the sounds were played together, with the echos overlapping each other --> Discomfort.

3. Fixing 1 BUG.
   Hey, programmer has been swarmed by uni assignments lately. This is some pretty fair progress and also an essential fix!

Tiny segment for the next level

The Code Corner

It’s about code. It’s the coder segment of the devlog. REVOLUTIONARY!!!

I asked the game’s programmer (@RocketBoyweee ) what inputs he had for the devlog. Here’s what we got, quote:

“This month I fixed A BUG, yes, a single bug. That's what I did. I've also spent time helping Alex work on the new dialogue that we want for the game. It's gonna be kickass!

This is a great month upon us.

Filled with greatness.

Last month that is.

Great month.”

Yup. Yup-yup-yup.
