Hello again,
June Development
After a few slow months, here's what we did in June:
Worldbuilding papers
Coder: New features have been implemented into the game. Includes examining journals and cut-outs that characters have left around the level, which will allow the player to learn more about the universe we're creating.Alex insert: These papers were pretty fun to make, especially when the real world got connected to our fictional one. ;-)
I also got to practice my feminine handwriting for some of them! Yay!More, more, more bug fixing and streamlining
Coder: Worked again on fixing numerous bugs in the game, reformatted quite a lot of the code and did some polishing up for events that occur in game - making it easier for the player to get familiar with the core game mechanics.Fixed typos
It's a text-heavy game. Typos are our enemies. Gotta catch them all!
Tiny segment for the next level
Artist: After my texture work for the papers (which should be the last textures of the cabin level), I went to work on the backgrounds for the next level.
