Log of March (2021) - Cavern Scarecrows + Another new build :D


Hello again,

Remember we mentioned a new build last devlog? Yeah, well it turned out to not be totally fool-proof. So here we are again with another build. (0.1.7)

Real life got us tangled up in all sorts of stuff again, so nothing major, but let's see what we did:

March Development

  1. Dialogue feedback
    After some time working on an art portfolio, I took a look at @RocketboyWeee 's and gave him some feedback and rewrites. Now it's time for him to do the same, and go back and forth until we're happy.

  2. Puzzleboard Save system Bug Fix
    The thing that was implemented broke (in some cases), but it should be fixed and work on all resolutions now.

  3. More caves
    Yeah, more cave textures. And scarecrows?
    (Just a mockup with different textures we have, not an actual room that appears in the game)

Ok who turned the yoinky sploinky mode on?

I released the OST on my Soundcloud, along with a bonus track, titled 'Depth'.

I'm planning on returning to this game next year and expand/refine it a bit: A Water-dungeon, npc's and generally more to interact with.
