Hello again,
Hey, how’s the game coming along this month?
March has been a slow month with the different complications that come with a student life, but of course it hasn’t come to a complete halt! :)
There has been a lot of back-end development on the coding side and I’ve also been working on some art assets that haven’t been implemented into the game just yet. Among these are some new character poses for Helina along with some different facial expressions.
Here’s an example:
The Code Corner
It’s about code. It’s the coder segment of the devlog. REVOLUTIONARY!!!
I asked the game’s programmer (@RocketBoyweee ) what inputs he had for the devlog. Here’s what we got, quote:
“This month I worked on the database and made sure that each level the player progresses through is saved to the database so they can pick up where they left off in an automatic save system. I’ve also worked on centering the text for dialogue in certain events for the game, as well as fixing some minor bugs in Lorry’s positioning when the player returns to the game after quitting.
Apart from that I’ve been busy with uni and work stuff, while trying to resist the alluring temptation of becoming a monk again as I hear the soft pitch of uhhhhhhhhhmmmmmm in my dreams.”
Monk time is good. We should have more of that in life. Maybe people wouldn’t be as stressed if they had themselves a little monk time?
