Greetings,
We are happy to finally release the beta of the game!
Beta and Release Information:
You can gain entry into the beta on gamejolt starting now! Look for the Lost to Time Beta package on the game's page.
Entry into the Beta is not free, it is priced at $9.99. However, purchase of the beta will guarantee you a full copy of the game (a key for either gamejolt or steam) upon release! Contact will be set up via gamejolt.
Beta availability will probably close around Mid-January, or until enough people sign up.
The game's official release is set to be February 12, 2021 on both steam and gamejolt. This will be a tested and more complete version of the game. It will be priced higher than the beta.
Along with the full version of the game released in February, there will also be a free updated demo of the game! This demo will contain quite a few improvements over the current demo on gamejolt, so there is something to look forward to if you are currently not in a place where you can pay the full price!
Further info about Beta:
By entering into the Beta, you acknowledge that you should not redistribute the game in any way, and that information will be collected from your computer to improve the experience of the final product, and that the game is not representative of the final product.
There will be a button for submitting bug reports in the top right hand corner of the game at all times. Please try to combine as much detail about your bug as possible (i.e. send as much information as possible within a single bug report). Please try to limit the number of bug reports to 1-2 per day.
Upon getting access to beta, you will also be invited to the beta discord server, where you can submit further bug reports / performance reports / suggestions throughout the course of the beta. Stay tuned for more info on this in the following days!
Lastly, we would like to thank the entirety of the Gamejolt community for the overwhelming support that the game has garnered. It feels almost unreal that this very long journey has almost ended (or, rather begun!). Thank you so much!
