June marks the halfway point of the year. I'm hoping to make a lot of progress in the latter half of the year!
Final Level / Enemy Type - Complete!
Last month, I mentioned finishing up the final level. This month I can officially say that the final level is complete. It features a new enemy and lots of time control mechanics / obstacles. This is definitely the most polished level yet. I hope to improve the other levels with as much polish as this one!Penultimate Boss - Complete!
The second to last boss is also complete. Again, like the accompanying level, this boss is definitely the most fluid, with in-between animations and all.Story Integration
The past few weeks I have been working on concept and integration of the rest of the story. The current plan is to have several different endings. Thanks to the scripting language (I posted about last month), it has been really easy making the story come to fruition! There will be many branching paths, twists and turns.
The story will mostly be experienced by talking to NPCs that appear throughout the world. The GIF above is a picture of one of them you will meet fairly early on!
