Lucid - Official Teaser Trailer 2

[Devlog No. 6 In Article]


Heck yeah! The next teaser trailer is here at last! I made the song and everything!

So, before we discuss this devlog, I would like to say the next trailer will be for the demo. and will include...

REAL GAMEPLAY?!?!?

Now for the devlog!

ADDITIONS

  • Added short film "Steamboat Willie" from Walt Disney Studios. (it's public domain)

  • Added a new track "Trailside Serenade" for the town/halfway point in the Desiccated Dunes.

  • Added a two new enemy types! "The Gazers" and the Dewberry Guards! Since it's a trailer this week and not a video here's the Gazer's and Dewberry Guards sprites:

(I tried my best to make each one unique in their own little way and i think I did pretty good. Lemme know any enemy ideas you got!)

The Gazers were inspired by the Seer from Epic Mickey.

TO DO LIST

  • Battlebacks for the other areas. (The only one I shall say is Dewberry)

  • More script writing!

  • More enemies! (Mount Diablo, Dewberry)

  • Work on my two songs, "Theoretical Ideas" and "start again"

And lastly, on January 1st 2025. We will be celebrating Lucid's 1st birthday! That is at least the day the reveal post went public and a couple cool things will be there!

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

The Flipside's combat is very balanced has no issues whatsoever.
