Chapter 1 Full Rework: A complete overhaul of the Chapter 1 introduction, flow, and drama. Features a shortened and reworked ending, with all new CGs and BGs converted to stage-by-stage 16:9 formats and optimized to AVIF.
Scene Enhancements: Reimagined the Zurich flashbacks, the Celestia traffic accident dream, the elevator sequence, and the penthouse scene. Deepened character reasoning in the
2-dream-fragment.Translations: Full English (
en_us) translations added natively for Chapters 1, 2, 3, memory flashbacks, and the main menu. Volume 1 “thanks” credits are now correctly shown.

Visuals, Audio & Sprites
New Character Sprites: Expansive new sprite sets, prototypes, and height corrections added for Neon, Marcus, Alex, Hans, Sophie, and Anna.
Audio Improvements: Converted Chapter 1 remade audio to
Opus. Added new sound effects (piano slam, morning lab, confrontations, and dreams) and new BGM themes (like Celeste’s theme), removing unused raw audio from the build.Visual Effects: Added new screen glitch shaders and variations. The main menu now features dynamic snow particles bound to the winter season (local calendar check).

UI & Menu Overhaul
Main Menu Refactor: Total architectural refactor of the main menu and its sub-menus, bringing a fresh, improved menu style.
Recollections & Gallery: Introduced the new “Memory Recollection” menu, merging the CG and Flashback galleries. Filled galleries with new CG previews and dedicated english descriptions.
Updater Screen Refactoring: Revamped the updater screen for better stability and style. Custom navigation menus were implemented for a slicker feel.

Systems & Under The Hood
DLC Environment: Newer, structural DLC system relying on manual URL version locks. Refactored the DLC building system and fixed popup splashscreens.
Installers & File Hierarchy: Support for robust
.iss(InnoSetup) installations with dynamic directories and installer icons. Completely reorganized the internal repository file system for source images.Quality of Life:
Introduced an inventory system to easily manage in-game quests (like the new Chapter 5 quest).
Dynamic names now display correctly regardless of save state support and version changes.
Heavily optimized the typewriter effect and slowed down characters-per-second for better readability.
Developer Tools: Opened devtools to the repository to streamline testing workflows and build commands.

Fixed the
