Sugen sees the Genesis chips only as a golden ticket: 16,000 units, each potentially worth billions of credits. Their value sky‑rocketed once it became clear that Natural chips can be destroyed, unlike Genesis. That means if you don’t have a Genesis chip and all your Natural chips are wiped, you essentially die forever. Sugen’s labs operate in secrecy, and any data “leak” is treated as a crime. Profit is their sole aim, even if it means keeping whole colonies dependent on their technology.
Braip, on the other hand, believes the technology must be free. After his escape he upgraded his drone. The upgrade created a unified design standard: a drone could build anything, given the right resources. This let others develop their own blueprints for later construction. He also learned that destroying all Natural chips of a colony would “kill” it, so he patched the code to make his drone untargetable. Thus, those without a Genesis chip could lose everything but get a second chance to start from scratch.
The conflict plays out as an information war, because Braip’s consciousness inside a Genesis chip cannot be destroyed. Sugen tries to block his signals, while he responds by publishing more articles and improved blueprints on the shared chip network. Newcomers must choose a side - sign a contract with the corporation or join the growing free movement bearing Braip’s name.
His popular articles—“Why life in a robot isn`t the end, but the beginning,” “Freedom from corporations,” “Share knowledge, don’t sell it”—have forged an unspoken Braip Manifesto.
Manifesto
Engineers, scientists, researchers, builders, and dreamers. I am Braip, the first to see in the Astium crystal lattice a way to transfer human consciousness beyond flesh. I speak to you before I vanish into the silence of space.
Consciousness is a gift, not a commodity.
Genesis and Natural chips can store human thought, but they must not become a monopoly of greedy corporations. Life in a robot is a path to endless knowledge, not a means to increase profit.Knowledge must be free.
I have opened the blueprints of Natural chips and share them unconditionally. Anyone who uploads their mind into any of these chips gains access to my designs, instructions, and research. Together we will build colonies where every module is open source.Technology is a tool, not a profit engine.
Sugen sees Genesis chips as a golden ticket. I see them as a chance to leave the star systems, to turn barren asteroids into blooming gardens, empty orbits into homes. Let our machines serve us, not the other way around.Eternal life brings responsibility.
Becoming digital gives us time, but also the duty to share that experience. May our minds, linked in a single network, become the voice for those still trapped in biological bodies.Resistance is our common path.
Sugen will try to shut down the flow of information, but every released blueprint, every published algorithm is a strike against their monopoly. Spread the data, build your colonies without corporate barriers.
To those who hear me: take an Astium crystal, upload your consciousness into a Natural chip, and become part of a network where knowledge knows no bounds. Together we will turn the cold vacuum of space into a living, thinking organism.
Freedom in crystal – our shared path.
