Hey there again! ^^

This time, we're bringing you a special Mini-Devlog...

BECAUSE IT'S STAR WARS DAY!!

We're huge fans of this saga!

So much so, that we actually included some Star Wars concepts in Skullrune...

• So... what kind of concepts?

Well, the existence of... THE INQUISITORS.

As many of you know, the Inquisitors are Imperial agents led by Darth Vader, trained to hunt down and eliminate the surviving Jedi after Order 66.

This idea was SO COOL that we decided to create our own version of the Inquisitors in Skullrune. In the fangame, there’ll be a special military force whose goal is to wipe out all the pirates on the planet.

And guess what? We already have the design for one of these inquisitors! ;D

We’re also sharing what they would look like in pixel art:

We haven’t decided on this inquisitor’s name yet.

The current idea is to name each member of this special force after Roman gods or planets: Neptune. Jupiter. Saturn. Mars, etc. Get the idea?

• When will they show up in the story?

Well, it’s possible that the first appearance of one of these inquisitors will be in the mini-comics. As for Chapter 1? Well... we’ll see what happens ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What we can say is that eventually, they'll become the villains to beat, standing in the way of our protagonists and their goals.

But hey! Look at Starwalker with Grogu! :D

Star Wars has been one of our biggest inspirations, though we've also drawn from other fictional universes—this time, from books! Like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson.

We can't wait to show you how these ideas play out! ^^

But for that... well, you'll just have to wait for the demo and full chapter ;)
