Mindhive: Wilds Chapter 2 just dropped!

This update focused on new additions, a new province and the next chapter in the storyline.

Added

  • Brand new chapter 2 questline + side quests

  • 3 new bosses have been added

  • Kyanite Ore

  • A new tip system which display one-time tips after certain actions (follower benefits.. etc)

  • Movement controls are now shown in the beginning of the game

  • UI elements will now change color depending on the time of day

  • A pre-1.4 save detector

  • New Statue in Thaylenn

Patched

  • Some loading screens will no longer be in the wrong resolution

  • You can no longer see part of the space parallax in the first loading screen

  • It will now play the correct music in Willowbrook Housing

  • Fixed wrong BGM playing after warping to Willowbrook

  • Fixed fire animations at Windview Boats

  • Bushes in Thaylenn no longer slow you down

Polished

  • Main and Side quests now have icons

  • Elemental class items now have a symbol

  • Unique skills now have a symbol

  • Elements now have symbols

  • The "foreclosure" house in Deep Eastern Windview has been improved

and much more...

bugs are present in this update due to the scale of this chapter. Most will be patched out either in a patch update or v1.5

Ashwood established the Moonlight Festival, an annual event where rituals are performed to honor the past and seek protection for the future.

Battles are getting an improvement in v1.7!

- Enemies now have HP bars

- Added a fatigue mechanic

- A battle tutorial in chapter 1

- Enemies now have a thought system (Text popups displaying what the enemy is thinking)

Weapon Spotlight

"Coronzon"

This fire type weapon deals quite a bit of damage and is a reward for donating 8000 scute to the "Meridian Life Preservation Fund" in the quest "Slightly More Wealthy"
