Mini Detective Game - Alpha

Hihi!

The mini detective game is now in alpha, so there probably won’t be that many news posts from my side henceforth. I will still update the binary with new features, bug fixes and polish, however. Minus that, the mini game is pretty much over and out.

You can now arrest a suspect based on evidence of opportunity and motive or altercation. Arresting the murderer counts as a win while arresting the wrong person as a lose game condition.

I think the game is pretty playable at this stage but it lacks polish. Playing a game with pop up menus is no fun either so I’m planning some sort of an ergonomy and visual overhaul in the near future (after which a tutorial will also be possible), also there is still lots of room for additional content (more evidence types, clues, situations…) which I’m going to be adding slowly and whenever I can find some time to spare.

Until then, I hope you can have some fun with this little prototype, you amateur sleuths… ^.^ I wonder who will be first in solving a case…

Cheers!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
