More About the New Waves! And Videos of the Week...


As you might have guessed from the “epic” youtube trailer, Floating Sandbox 1.11 will sport a completely re-designed sub-system for simulating the ocean surface. Waves in the next version consist of “basal waves” - regular ocean waves with amplitude, width, and speed dependent on the wind speed - and of “interactive waves” - individual waves generated either by the user or by the game, moving around in the world following wave physics.
