Moving on


Hello S:A community,

Piotr Bunkowski here. I’ve been working with Hades and ADC since 2014. Firstly as a Polish language translator, now as full motion video director and screenwriter.

I’m writing this in the name of entire Hades Productions.

Sadly, Slender Anxiety won’t be completed.

We’ve been struggling with the project for the past four years. I saw it going through various story concepts. Many ideas were scrapped. Back in 2014 the game had potential with all of the craze around Slender Man games. Our small dev team had seven people back then. From seven we dropped to three, where ADC made models and Hades programmed the whole thing.

Two years ago, we noticed how impossible this project has become.
All of us suggested how we should tackle the S:A from here on out. We thought about changing length of the game, cutting content that we can’t make, doing everything to keep this thing alive. Unfortunately, after all this time we won’t be able to make up to everything we planned and promised. I’m sure you’re expecting hell of the adventure, that we can’t provide. We burned out.

This brings us to this . Due to the other projects at hand, lack of time, lack of solid development team and vision that we’re not able to complete by ourselves, we’re closing the project for good. We’ve update the demo for the last time. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it. Sorry for disappointing all of you, but that’s the end of this journey.

We would also like to ask you to stop sending us messages about S:A completion and trying to offer your help in creating the story. The game is officially abandoned.
