MY DECISION

Ok, so it's been four days since I ran that poll. The majority said I should just go searching through the code with the hopes of finding the bugs. So that's what I ended up doing. I spent all day searching and I still couldn't find the problems. Additionally, I ran into even more problems that caused the game to crash even more. So I took a little bit of a break from the game altogether so I could relax.

Now I'm back, and my head is a bit clearer. I have no intention of abandoning this game at all. I've put too much work into it and the voice actors did very good work that should be recognized. So, I'm gonna relieve myself a lot of stress with this decision. The best way to fix this problem is to just backtrack a bit and just reprogram nights 1, 2, 3 & 5 again. Everything else in the game has been working fine so there’s no need to redo anything else. I also see this as a bit of a relief cause in the past 2 months, I've become much better at this whole game making thing, and I know that I'll go into this process with a better idea of what I'm doing and how to do it. By doing this, hopefully, I won't have to run into any of these bugs at all. It's also a good thing because as development has gone on, the game has begun to look a lot better as well. The main nights were the first thing I started modeling, lighting and texturing, and since then, every other part of the game looks way better. So while I'm reprogramming, I'll also be doing some work to make it look a little nicer as well.

Thank you guys for your feedback on the poll, and while I did try to go with the majority, I think this will be the better decision. The quicker I start this process, then the sooner the game will come out. I'm still confident that this game will be out by next month :)

NEW TEASER!

The game itself is moving at an ok pace. I'm spending a lot of time testing small bits and checking bugs. I have a few more environments to make before starting on the A.I.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.
