For years I've had an idea for a game about escaping the school system. The feeling of being trapped and forced to follow a fixed path without alternative. In this game, each run follows the life of a child who must learn to make their own decissions.
I always knew I wanted to make it creepy and in style of Paper Mario mixed with horror aestethics like OFF and My Beutiful Paper Smile. I also knew I wanted to make it a rouge-like with alot of visual storytelling similar to Isaac or Slay the Spire.
However, I never really set on the exact gameplay or art style. It took forever, but I currently found some head space to make mockups.
