MYSTERYTALE Online 0.12.1 Release


My apologies, there were some technical difficulties. Below the changelog are some good news btw.

Additions

  • Chara was given new facial expressions for chat

  • Added PvP Battle Sprites for Sonic, Knuckles and Woodman

  • Added Portraits for Muffet

  • Papyrus X was given a new taunt

  • Added a new easter egg somewhere

  • Some skins can now dash! Look out for a boot icon in the skin menu!

Changes

  • Updated the GameMaker Server version, which should make things work better than before

  • Changed some of Gaster's dialogue for new players (he'd still claim that there is no PvP)

  • Froggit will not talk the same turn that the player uses the ACT command "Console" on Whimsun

  • The "!"-Speech Bubble that appears over your character before random encounters is now moved properly above your character's sprite

  • Updated Frisk's and Chara's Textbox Portraits

  • Updated Frisk's and Chara's Battle-Sprites to be more in line with their Textbox and Skin Menu Portraits

  • Updated Team Switched Sans' Textbox Portraits again

  • Updated Shop Temmie's sprites

  • Updated Temmie's walk cycle to be more bouncy

  • Updated Papyrus X' Overworld and Battle Sprites

  • Made the "& Knuckles" Titlescreen more rare

PvP Changes

  • Fixed Papyrus' Bone hitbox being off

  • Buffed Rockington's Curse and Reverse Curse(

(Please keep in mind that we are still experimenting with how to properly balance out PvP)

Fixes

  • Fixed an oversight where you could get stuck in Toriel's basement

  • Fixed Battle Theme sometimes playing during the "But nobody came." encounter

  • Fixed an issue where sometimes the "Chat is cooling down" indicator would change its font

  • Fixed Gaster being said to have a taunt

  • Fixed some skins having The Batter's soul-sprite

just added an anti-latency mechanic for pvp where the enemy's soul will be moved on your screen based on ping to keep it synced even with delay. still needs in-depth testing, but i'm hoping that'll make pvp against high ping users more bearable
