Aight, I promised it and here it finally is.
Keep in mind that this version of the game will not be developed any further in favor of a new version being developed in a new engine.
This build of the game is separate from the main game, as such it's available as a separate download and the prior full version remains online.
Saving is disabled in this build to avoid potential issues.
Expect bugs and glitches. This IS just an unfinished build gone public, after all.
Potential Questions and their answers about this build
Q: So is this it for MYSTERYTALE Online?
A: Far from it, plans have just changed a little and I've grown tired of working on the current outdated code. That said, MYSTERYTALE Online will be more of a side mode in the future and may adopt a Peer-to-peer type of multiplayer instead. All this really means is that there's an actual game to play right next to it and that you and your friends maybe be able to play in private servers and private lobbies. Also that you probably won't have to fear about server shutdowns killing the multiplayer altogether.
Q: Will my Save Data carry over into the new version?
A: Your 0.12.2 Save Data will carry over into this BETA, but not into the new version being developed in a new engine. That said, is there really much to lose other than maybe playtime?

Q: Will [X] thing be in the new game?
A: I'd much rather answer questions about the new game in a separate devlog, or, I dunno, the comments or something. However, plans are to include the majority of content from the GMS1.4 version of MTO, such as its chat system, PvP System, maps, skins and even its scrapped Racing Mini-Game (that was scrapped for being absolutely terribly made).
Q: Sans PvP?
A: Uh, technically. Unfortunately he only has, like, one finished spell and it's pretty basic. I could've probably half-assed a basic Gaster Blaster spell for the public build, but... nah. Outside of a lacking moveset though, Sans should be mostly functional.
Q: Can we have the source code?
A: Imma be real with you on this one. I don't think you want it. It's trash. That's, like, the main reason I started work on a new engine. It's awful to work with. I can't believe I once put someone through the agony of trying to help me with this mess of a source code. So, uh, yeah, no, you don't want it. But, uh, as a consolation prize, I suppose I could show off some progress on that new thing soon.
Q: But I really want the source code!
A: Look, whatever you do, I just ask that you don't mess up the experience for anyone else playing.
Q: How do you get Super Sonic?
A: You don't. Super Sonic hasn't been in the game for, like, years.
