New build: Beep beep beep beepbeepbeep

Can you guess what that sound is?

IT IS YOUR IMPENDING DOOM!

When a missile has an active lock on the player, there’s a big flashy beepy UI element (mandatory in all space fighter sims. You can be my wingmaaaan… anytime.) It also provides some feedback on lockon distance via beep frequency.

This should reduce the occurence of you learning an enemy with missiles spawns in after its hellish first volely slams into you at 999,9999,999 KPH and ruins your day.

Here’s a full list of changes. It’s pretty short as this build was meant to address missile balance and make them a more useful player weapon again. They were weaksauce and as a fan of gundam and macross I CANNOT LET THIS INJUSTICE STAND!

  1. Decreased missile rate of fire.

  2. Increased minimissile volley size.

  3. Increased minimissile and medium missile damage.

  4. Added lockon warning UI element.
