New screenshot and changes regarding the soundtrack

Hello everybody !

The game is still in development (albeit a bit slowly because of my studies).
I’m currently creating levels for the next zone, Mountain Temple.
Here’s a facebook-quality screenshot (my apologies for that)

The stage will feature a new enemy, moving platforms, some rocks that chase you around the stage and other gimmicks.

Now, regarding the soundtrack :
Until now I was composing the music myself, using the awesome tracker program “PxTone” by Pixel (creator of Kero Blaster and Cave Story)
However, I was never really satisfied with the way the music sounded.
It was not quite retro but not quite modern either, because of my lack of experience as a composer.

Therefore I decided to replace the PxTone tracks I had with module music from the Mod Archive.
Not only do they sound a lot better than the original music, but they also have a pretty small file size (usually less than 1 Mb per song).
I should also mention I’m using Smarty’s GMBassmod DLLs to play the music.

Here are some of the modules I’ve choosen :
Nocturnal Fair : Streets of Venice
Celestial Ruins : Over the clouds
Mountain Temple : Street Jungle

I hope you like the new soundtrack as much as I do !

And as your reward for reading this, here’s yet another screenshot, featuring the newly implemented rotating platforms in Wood Village.
Have a nice day !
