It means I returned to it after all. I've kind of gotten attached to this thing. I've started working on Release 1.2 of BioFuse.
...Why 1.2 , Ex? Why not like.. 0.2.8?
Well, with the way GameJolts versioning works which is [MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH] it's just the way that I feel like this works. Technically speaking it's just 1.2.0 because I'm probably gonna make some mistakes here or there. No worries though, I playtest.
I'm also using the "0.2.0.4.3" build to go from because within the 2 years since I released it I thought that I'd "completely recode the whole game oh hoy hoy hoy." I'm forgetting that there's over a thousand lines of code in this current version alone, why would I abandon all that hard work? So taking this into account along with having gotten older, I should have a reasonable build out.
One more thing, if you're going to be "updating" from within the game it will no longer work. I explained this in the update page.
This also demonstrates that I learned my lesson with how large the console should actually be, giving it a more roguelike feel in the longrun. I'm hoping that when I get this update completed it will give me more motivation to pursue finishing this beast in the long run.
I'm also going to be writing more code for the places you can visit and grind while also making it so you can equip armor and items to be able to stop that bastard BlotBlot from killing you again for the 30th time. Anyways, I'll see you later today or tonight hopefully!
