no, this is not “disbelief papyrus”. this is just the unused papyrus boss fight being brought back into the game as a playable skin. we weren’t gonna use that old boss fight anytime soon and we didn’t want to let the design go to waste lmao.

and yes, it’s a jojo reference. this new papyrus, dubbed “papyrus x” (for reasons that will be revealed eventually, possibly, perhaps, dont count on it too much) is not going to be available to the public for several updates. this skin is part of a different update, but, uh, yknow, may as well just turn him into dio until he’s public.
