As I'm reviewing the entries for #InsectileContest, I'd love some feedback on the new bug collecting animation!

How can I make it more satisfying? (Or soul crushing, for failures?)

It may just be me, but I think this effect is really cute:

With Bubble, you can build a temporary shield. Each tile placed soaks up 1 damage from the next round of attacks. I was inspired by Diving Bell Spiders : )

Adding sauce to my indie game this week by improving some animations.
