Online Version of Sonic Sprint!

Hey everyone! This is just a message regarding the online version of Sonic Sprint.

Q: Where can I play the online version?
A: You can play it here!

Q: Why is there an online version?
A: An online version of Sonic Sprint was around for much longer than the downloadable version, but I decided to keep it up for those who don’t want to download the game.

Q: Is there anything different about the online version?
A: Well, there ARE some patches for the online version coming out soon, and possibly some online-exclusive content. However, there won’t be anything to make the online version superior to the downloadable version.

Q: Will these patches come to the downloadable version?
A: As of now, no. These are only small patches that don’t impact the game much, so it would be a waste of time porting them to the downloadable game. However, if the online game requires a major update to continue functioning, we’ll port the update and all updates prior to the downloadable version.

Q: Do we have to play the online version for the latest content?
A: Right now, I say no. The only content I can see for the online version that the downloadable version won’t have is some small audio tweaks. Other than that, the online and downloadable versions are the same.

Q: Do we have to stop playing the downloadable version?
A: No, not at all! I encourage you to use the version that you find best.

Q: How long will the online version be up?
A: For as long as I can! If for some reason I can no longer have Sonic Sprint online, the online version will become a downloadable version.

Thanks for reading, and keep on sprinting!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!

We're knee deep in multiple large features and "game feel". Quick peek behind the scenes in this weeks Dev Blog: https://bit.ly/2QmmaQM
