Whatever could've happen with the original release (SonicEDIT.ROM - LEGACY) is now scrapped. Cloudyjolt, the original programmer of this isnt associated with the game anymore due to his own request

I will try my best to finish what I always wanted to do with this project, I will avoid cancelling this but if I actually have to do so one day, it is what it is

but either way, SonicEdit.ROM is still going regardless
