Our first in-game footage! + Development Update


Would you look at that? We FINALLY have ingame footage to show you.

It's not much - no enemies or showing off mechanics yet. But we hope you like what you see - we've spent a long time finetuning our game with Godot Engine to give it that nice, spooky FNAF-like prerendered feel while still taking advantage of a 3D engine.

Please note that this footage doesn't have the game's VHS / CRT shader, as we're more focused on letting you see how clean the game's graphics and style looks. The Garage also may change as development goes on, but this is definitely what we're sticking with in terms of lighting and style.

Every single bit of this Garage was crafted beautifully by @JAZ3D. We're very proud of it. Note that through gameplay mechanics you'll also be able to see other parts of the house, as well as the exterior via that fancy window and garage door. The Circus Killers are relentless; they'll find any way to get inside.

We've also updated the Clown's cover render to reflect his new character design, which we've shown off on Twitter. Be sure to follow us at Frightmare Studios (@frightstudio) / Twitter!

So what's going on with development? Slow but steady. As I said before the bulk of our development time is being spent on asset creation. As of now, all main enemies have been modelled, and we're excited to show them to you in the future. Stick around in the near future for an official look at our second Circus Killer: The Mantis!

Also look forward to some special high quality character renders of both the Clown and the Mantis, for use as wallpapers, profile pictures, or just fancy images to look at in your free time while you ignore the heavy knocking on your front door. Don't let them in. Don't.
