So since the last Dev Log which was a few days ago now (Like 2 days) I’ve done a whole bunch of cool things to the game that I want to cover in this log (I won’t be going over every new thing I added just a couple that I think are worth showing right now)
First off I’ve added a death animation and made the bullets change their angle depending on the direction they are shooting in
(Oh also I created my own particle system to use in Game Maker Studio because I don’t like the default one)

The player will also spawn in with its own custom particles which I designed myself
Next up is that levels will now unlock as you complete the previous ones! its not a very good look at it but here’s a small GIF of it working (This GIF was taken like a day ago so it doesnt show any of the stuff I’m showing today except level unlocking)

One little neat thing I’ve done is changed the way portals work sorta, They don’t teleport you instantly anymore instead you’ll fade in and out to the next portal

I’ve also added these little neat things to some of the levels where things are first introduced/first required which are wall drawings which tell you how to do certain things, Along with a really neat little effect I added where things “explode” when you kill the player and then they respawn in when the level restarts
